East Villaflores Evangelical Church, East Villaflores Maayon Capiz hold their Harvest and Thanksgiving Celebration last Nov. 1, 2009  Sunday.  It is an expression of God’s Faithfullness to us as member of the Church. In return we celebrate this to glorify and honor God.Every year our Church is holding this event between the month of March and October(depending to the schedule). Pastor Stephen Alquisa, as one of our invited guest speaker for this celebration, together with JESUS TOUCH MINISTRY staff. A lot of testimonies from selected persons that catch everybody’s attention, a statement that can change people and once they heard they will never be the same again.  We give thanks to GOD not only of the blessings we receive from Him, but for the victorious experience with HIM. A lot of visitors who came and hear the word of GOD through His servant.  ” Why we give thanks? Because we are special people choose by GOD.

Last Sept 26, 2009 Typhoon Ondoy strikes the Philippines particularly in some part of Luzon and Metro Manila. It was shocking news that our “Kababayan” is experiencing this kind of calamities. 2 weeks ago, I went to my relatives, near SM City Marikina. We shop at the riverbanks mall, and bought some groceries at the SM Marikina. Hindi ko inaakalang ang lugar na iyon ay babaha, katulad ng nakikita ko sa TV gabi gabi. I asked my relatives through cellular phone who are in their house during that time, he says that this unusual experience can make her strong, and pray to GOD that they will be safe. Halos maiyak ako ng sinabi nyang through “ bayanihan system” siya ay nailigtas. Hindi niya inaakalang siya ay mabubuhay sa ganoong baha. Ayon sa kanya hinila siya ng mga kapitbahay niya sa kanilang bubung na kanyang kinalalagyan, sa pamamagitan ng lubid na nakapilipit sa kanyang katawan. Halos mawalan siya ng malay dahil sa rumaragasang tubig papasok sa kanilang bahay.

Pagkatapos ng ganoong pangyayari binalikan nila ang kanilang bahay para ayusin ang dinaanan ng baha.  Putik na hanggang tuhod ang naghihintay sa kanila upang kanilang linisin.Karamihan sa kanilang mga gamit ay halos lubog  sa tubig. Pero nagpapasalamat  siya dahil(to be continued)

Last August 1, 2009 a shocking news from different radio and TV station, was been aired that former President Corazon Aquino was pass away in the age of 76. People all over the Philippines and even here in our locality in Capiz, are waiting, for the full coverage regarding former President Aquinos remain. From the stories, comments that I heard, it prompted me to write this article as a tribute to former President Corazon Aquino. According to my father that President Aquino was been elected as the 11th President of the Republic of the Philippines and during her time of Presidency a lot of development was been implemented. Such as the fast and efficient way of processing registry of deeds and make some land titles, which my father is one of the recipients. I’ve known her as a very spiritual person for she asks the blessings and guidance from every decision she have made. Unlike in the previous and current administration that the development is very slow. It was in the administration of President Corazon Aquino, that the “1987 Constitution” has been officially known and introduced to the People. And Finally President Aquino was the First Woman President in Asia and 1st Woman President of the Republic of the Philippines. A Model, A Mother and a President have finally held the Hands of our Creator.

Every Semester Filamer Christian College  hold a Christian Emphasis Week Celebration . The theme for this semester is Who Am I, based from the book of Psalm 8. 5. and Who Am I by casting crown as our Themesong. I am so blessed to be one of the FCC Praise Team  Member for this Semester, for I know that we are doing this to Glorify and Honor God as the source of every talent that we have. Being a Praise Team Member is not a joke for it is passion and commitment to serve GOD .As a student and ambassador of God soon, the joy in my heart to hear the words of  God through his servant, cannot be paid by any financial means. Who am I to neglect God’S purpose in my life, I am nothing in this world if he doesn’t allow me to live. I gained more ideas on how to become an effective servant of God, on how to deepen the relationship  with God and how to deal with his Creation. Before, my life is so weird and busy to do things that is not pleasing to the eyes of GOD,  I do cheating with my friends, doing something that could embarrased other people. But God is so great  He donot allow me to stay in the darkness or to do evil things. And He find ways to lift me up, and away from sin. GOD BLESS US.

Life is a precious gift from God, that we need to take care of , A life that sometimes in a critical condition. Last June 2-5, 09, I was been suffering from mumps and ulcers. As a student we need to take care of ourselves,  because if we lost it, maybe its our final end. June 05, 09 foun d to be my final end, the reason why, my body temperature is reach to 41, and my heart beat is increasing to 2 beats per second.  I get drowzzy, and feel weak. But during this moment of time I ask God if He wants me, and I am ready to submit my selves but if He have a great purpose in me He can cure me, and God prove to me that I have a mission, to spread the Gospel of God, and I prove it, Thanks God for making me alive.

Since the promotion of  Tourist spot in the Province of Capiz is in demand. Mag-olot Falls Resort in East Villaflores Maayon Capiz is soon to be rised. In fact the owner of the Falls had a plan to open it in public next year. The Cottages, Swimming  Polls, Kayaks, and other amenities should be built. Mag-olot Falls Resort is located on the Southern Portion of the Barangay. But this year we will be starting up to build the Cottages. We will raise funds, to make the project be possible. One of our vision in making this resort is to encourage our fellow kabarangays to invest and sell some native products, and to help them in earning extra income . We expect the Tourist , Guest, and Visitors all over the Philippines and even abroad to stay and experience the amazing breeze of our resort,and  to taste the freshness of  Buko Juice. Because we all know that the potentials of the Mag-olot Falls Resort will have a big contribution to the Tourism Industry of Maayon, and the Capiz Province. But we still need the support of the Capiz  Government in improving the roads from the proper going to the Mag-olot Falls Resort. Further announcement will be post soon.

Last May 2009 we been to Boracay Island Philippines for a special trip. Indeed a group of 13th person who joined for the said retreat. For the first time we finally reached and We embraced the ocean front  of the island, Walking at white sand of the beach,looking fo some tourist spots and engaging the business inside the island. In Boracay we saw a lot of foreigners, actresses, like Victor Basa, Their Palanca Brothers, and many more.We enjoy our vacation trip for three days, we do an Island hopping, with my ka-groupmates, and nourishing the inner beauty of the Boracay Island, Yes we know that our vacation is not complete without the pasalubong so we drop at the the Talipapa to bought some pasalubong like bags, T-Shirt, Shorts, Caps, necklace and many more. And then in our final night we been to the Eat All You can Store, to taste the mouth watering foods, and seafood of the Island. And May 3, we finally leave the Island with a great joy in our Heart.

Yesterday jaguar and jumper throwed away in the mountain. My father left them, in the street and they seems to be, curious about the placed.
